He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He was the commander of VFW Post 7698 in Russell Springs.

He was the owner and operator of Russell County Radiator Repair and retired from the General Motors Cooperation.

He was born  on  Tuesday December 30, 1947 in Batavia, New York Son of :

            Father - Sherman Nichols, Deceased

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday April 15, 2017 at VFW Post 7698, Owenstown School Road, Russell

Springs, Kentucky, with Bro. Ralph Hadley & Allen Withers officiating. Funeral honors will be presented by Columbia VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be after the service. Wilson Funeral Home, Russell Springs, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Interment will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, Highway 80, Nancy, Kentucky.
