Everett Howard Harvey, 76, of Russell Springs, passed away August 22, 2019 peacefully after a long illness. He was born April 23, 1943 in Russell Springs. He was the son of the late Shafter and Lena Whittle Harvey.
Everett was a retired truck driver for Sallee Horse Vans of Lexington and an honorary driver for JR Hudson Transport. He loved driving a truck almost as much as he loved a game of Rook and a good conversation with anyone. He never met a stranger and to know him was to love him.
Everett is survived by one sister Louise Johnson of Shelbyville Indiana, one granddaughter Jennifer and Dave Sneed as well as two great granddaughters Reagan and Maddie. He leaves behind several special friends who were just like family. The impact he had on those around him is indescribable. He was a member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 Sunday August 25, 2019 with Bro. David Coffey & Bro. Rabon Smith officiating.
