Amy Kerr, age 60, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, June 27 2026 at Russell County Hospital Hospice Suite .

She was born on Friday, July 09 1965, in Gibson City, IL.

She was the daughter of:
Mother - Sandra Akin Bridgewater, who has preceded her in death
Father - Ray Smith, who has preceded her in death

Survivors also include:
Husband - Robert Kerr of Russell Springs, KY

2 Daughters:

Sarah Owens, spouse Ray, of Jamestown KY

Laura Popplewell, spouse Montana, of Jamestown KY

1 Brother:

Joe David Smith, spouse Beverly, of Russell Springs KY

1 Step-Sister:

Kimberly Mitchum, spouse Tony, of Columbia KY

1 Step-Brother:

Tim Akin, spouse Lori, of Columbia KY

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Mason, Dallas and Bristol. She had worked in medical field and attended the Freedom Church of God for 17 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Chuck Smith. She was a loving and caring mother, a good wife and she cared for her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 30 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 11 AM Tuesday, June 30 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery, Columbia, KY.
