Argle Coffee Meeks, age 85, of Windsor, KY passed away Thursday, August 26 2021 at Casey County Hospital.
He was born on Monday, January 13 1936, in Liberty, Ky.
He was the son of:
Mother - Alice Roberts Meeks, who has preceded him in death
Father - Gloid Meeks, who has preceded him in death

Wife - Phyllis Gosser Meeks of Russell Springs, KY
Sheila Luttrell, of Windsor KY
Tammy Egnew, spouse Ricky, of Russell Springs KY
Alan Gosser, spouse Mary Beth, of Russell Springs KY
He is also survived by two special nephews, Billy Roy and Joe Emerson as well as a special niece Rhonda Meeks,1 granddaughter Cassie (Bryant) Gregory, great grandchildren, Lilly, Justin and Valerie, 1 great-grandchild, Easton Gregory, 4 step-grandchildren, Laura (Jason) Davidson, Lindsay (Taylor) Gibson, Dustin Gosser, Jared (Jacklyn) Gosser, 4 step-great grandchildren, Connor and London Davidson and Scout and Boone Gibson. Argle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who enjoyed his time with family as well as farming and gardening and drove a school bus for 30 years in the Casey County School System. Argle was an long-time fiddle player and enjoyed playing bluegrass and gospel music with his friends and served as fiddler for many well-known groups including Carl Story and the Rambling Mountaineers and Harold Austin and the First National Bluegrass. Argle attended Ono Community Church where he re-dedicated his life to the Lord. Besides his parents, Argle was preceded in death by all six of his siblings; two brothers; Delmer (Kathleen) Meeks and Chester (Lucy) Meeks. Four sisters; Marie (Elmer) Bernard, Opal (Elsie) Roy, Gladys (Elbert) Emerson, and Beatrice Meeks who passed away as a child.
Funeral services will be 5 PM EASTERN TIME Friday, September 03 2021 at Thomas Ridge Christian Church, Thomas Ridge Road, Dunnville, KY.
Visitation will be 2:30 - 5 PM EASTERN TIME Friday, September 03 2021 at Thomas Ridge Christian Church, Thomas Ridge Road, Dunnville, KY.
Interment will be in Thomas Ridge Cemetery, Dunnville, KY.
