He was born on Tuesday, April 17 1928, in Cincinnati, OH.

He was the son of:
Mother - Mertie Allen Atwood, who has preceded him in death
Father - Kelsey Logan Atwood, who has preceded him in death

Wife - Avalene Atwood of Russell Springs, KY

He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren as well as a host of great grandchildren. He was lavatory inspector for the Crane Company and member of Square Oak Separate Baptist Church.

Interment will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens, , Liberty, KY.
