Doris Marie Meece

Doris Marie Meece, age 80, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, February 14 2021 at Her residence.

She was born on Sunday, August 18 1940, in Whitley City, Kentucky.

She was the daughter of:
Mother - Eva Hines Downs, who has preceded her in death
Father - John Downs, who has preceded her in death

Dana Brown, of Rickman TN
Lisa Sullivan, of Cincinnati OH
Sherry Brown, of Russell Springs KY

1 Son:

Scott Brown, of Gardendale AL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Meece.

She is survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren also survive. She was a seamstress and retired from Russell Sportswear.

Funeral services will be 12:30 Friday, February 26 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 10 AM Friday, February 26 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 West Highway 80, Nancy, KY.
