Obituary

Ezra Lee Wilson, age 89, of the Dorena Community of Russell County, passed away Thursday, February 10 2022 at Somerset Rehab.

He was born on Monday, August 22 1932, in Somerset, KY.

He was the son of:
Mother - Elsie Chumbley Wilson, who has preceded him in death
Father - Iva Wilson, who has preceded him in death

Survivors also include:

2 Daughters:

Patricia Perkins, spouse Jim, of Jamestown KY
Rebecca Harrison, spouse Bill, of Magnolia KY

1 Step-Daughter:

Cindy Pearcy, .

2 Step-Sons:

Jeff Smith, of Louisville KY
Billy Smith, of Louisville KY

1 Sister:

Wilma Wilusz, .

1 Brother:

Gary Wilson, of Russell Springs KY

He is also survived by three granddaughters, Melissa (Troy) Biddle, Sarah (Chad) Goughnour and Lorie Bryant. 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sheila Shields Wilson, brothers, Dennis, Ira and Joe Wilson and his grandson Anthony David Burton. He was retired from General Electric and served in the United States Navy. He loved farming, fishing and ginseng digging.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 15 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 15 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY.
