Gladys Ruth Simpson, age 90, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, September 06 2020 at the home of her daughter.

She was born on Wednesday, January 01 1930, in Russell Springs.

She was the daughter of:
Mother - Retha Stephens, who has preceded her in death
Father - Alvin Ray Stephens, who has preceded her in death

She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was the owner and operator of Russell County Florist for 43 years and a member of the Church of God. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bascom Simpson and a daughter, Barbara Garner.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, September 10 2020 at Russell County Memorial Gardens, , Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 9 AM - 11 AM Thursday, September 10 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Russell County Memorial Gardens, US Highway 127 (Middletown), Russell Springs, KY.
