She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Brockman, Russell Springs, KY

Laverda was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on July 6, 1946, a daughter of the late Eva (Eads) and Trulen Withers.

She was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church and a former factory worker at RR. Donnelley

Laverda is survived by

two sons Joseph Brockman, of Liberty, KY; Douglas Brockman, of Russell Springs, KY, 2 grandchildren, Madeleine and Jaxon, two sisters, Wanda, wife of Joel Gambrel, of Knoxville, TN and Regina, wife of Johnny Bernard, of Russell Springs, KY.
