Lora was born in Windsor, Kentucky on August 29, 1921, a daughter of the late Ruth M. (Wilson) and Merrell Wells.

She was a member of 1st Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star and a Homemaker.

She is survived by a host of neices and nephews.
