He is survived by his wife, Ina (Lawless) Higginbotham of Russell Springs, KY

Rester was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on May 25, 1930, a son of the late Mary (Judd) and George Higginbotham.

He was of Seventh Day Adventist Faith and a Farmer.

Rester is also survived by :

two daughters, Sandra Leach, of Russell Springs, KY; Sharon Hill, of Russell Springs, KY; and a son,Roger Higginbotham, of Russell Springs, KY.

1 grandson and 1 great-grandson and a host of neices and nephews also survive along with two sisters, Viola Bunch, of Jamestown, KY; Helen Hadley, of Florida.

There will be no visitation.
