Richard Elam

Richard L. Elam, age 82, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Wednesday, April 21 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Hospice Care.

He was born on Sunday, February 12 1939, in West Liberty, Kentucky.

He was the son of:
Mother - Mattie Cox Elam, who has preceded him in death
Father - Homer Elam, who has preceded him in death

Survivors also include:
Wife - Katherine Elam of Russell Springs, KY

1 Daughter:

Sally McCullum , of Louisville KY

2 Sons:

Richard Elam Jr., of Russell Springs KY.
Brett Elam, of Cape Coral FL.

1 Sister:

Susan Jasper, of Whitehouse, TX

He is also survived by one grandson, Finnley.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed the occasional Martini and Old Fashion. His son Rich says, "I imagine dad is in Heaven with granddad and Ryan catching all the big fish." He attended Three Trees in Russell Springs.
