Richard Scott Netherton

Richard Scott Netherton, 56, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was born on April 1, 1969, in Beech Grove, Indiana, the son of Theodore “Ted” and Ruth (Wilson) Netherton.

He worked as a process engineer at GECOM Corp in Greensburg, Indiana, where he was respected for his practical skills and steady work ethic. He enjoyed spending quiet mornings hunting, relaxing days fishing, and cherished his time on the golf course. These hobbies brought him joy and reflected his love for nature and simple moments.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Rebekah Netherton; grandson, Dayton Netherton; mother, Ruth Netherton; sister, Laura (Chris) Geis; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ted.

A private interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery at Gosser Ridge.
