He is survived by his wife Jane Ann (Cruse) Coffey of Russell Springs, KY
Roger was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on November 11, 1941, a son of the late Ella Mae (Rippetoe)  and Orvin G. Coffey.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a retired Construction Worker.
He is survived by:
a daughter, Kim, (Tony) Foster, of Russell Springs, KY; and a son, Paul (Sherri) Coffey, of Russell Springs, KY;  along with 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive along withtwo brothers, Lloyd W.  (Cathy) Coffey, of Jamestown, KY; Danny K. (Glenda) Coffey, of Jamestown, KY.
