Wanda Ivadean Thomas, age 84, of Russell Springs, KY passed away, Sunday May, 3rd 2010, at Russell County Hospital Hospice Unit after a long illness.
She was born on Monday, April 13 1936, in Russell Springs, KY.
She was the daughter of:
Mother - Rilda Ferry Cooper, who has preceded her in death
Father - Herschel Cooper, who has preceded her in death
Survivors include:

Karen (Ronald) Hopper, of Russell Springs KY

Kenton (Melinda) Thomas, of Russell Springs KY.

Herschel Osborne Cooper, of Lorton VA
She was a homemaker and loved caring for and raising AKC Poodles, Yorkies, Schnauzers and Maltese pups. She was member of New Friendship United Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Welby Thomas Jr., a brother, Elmo Cooper and a granddaughter, Brandi Nicole Roy. She is survived by grandchildren, Eric Roy, Matthew (Jessie) Hopper, Jansen (Ibby) Hopper, Jordan (Carolyn) Thomas, Jacob (Amelia) Thomas and TIna Thomas, as well as 9 great-grandchildren of Russell Springs, Kentucky
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of a contribution to New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
A private graveside service and entombment was held in compliance with Kentucky COVID-19 pandemic policy with Bro. Carl Mac Thomas officiating.
